Number of exhibits per breeding unit
A fair authorizes an exhibitor to present a maximum of 12 exhibits to allow youngsters to show their animals in open classes.
Registration on animals
All exhibits must be the property of the exhibitor and registered under the name of the exhibitor as per their respective association. The registration certificate must certify that the animal is of pure breed or possesses at least 75% of the breed. All exhibits must be clearly tattooed (except for the Holstein breed). No substitute allowed on entry forms. One change up to 4 head. 2 per herd allowed.

For the purposes of the classifications a breeding unit is defined as follows. In each classification where the same or common interests are involved in more than one breeding operation such operations are considered as one Breeding Unit. In all cases where there is any doubt that more than one breeding unit exists, the interpretation shall be that only one breeding unit exists. The responsibility of proof of separation of breeding units shall rest with the exhibitor(s).
PLEASE NOTE
For the purpose of the Classifications an exhibit shall be interpreted as follows: All purebred registered animals, whether owned by one person or by more than one person (individually or jointly),are considered to be the production of the farm or breeding unit on which they are maintained
11 – Herdsman Competition is for dairy and beef cattle combined
Competition for herdsman, for display with maximum for general neatness of exhibit and for grooming of animals 50% to include courtesy of attendants and information provided by them. as well as other factors to be determined by the Exhibition. Judging to take into account all factors involved in an all-day operation (7 a.m. to 10 p.m.)

If only one herd per breed, beef or dairy, they take second prize money.
